SCOPE OF THE ASSURANCE QUALITY SYSTEM BASED ON AAR M-1003

  • Repair, modification and overhaul for locomotives and railway carriages.
  • B18 Truck Bolster and Side Frame Repair for freight cars.
  • B19 Truck Bolsters and Side frame repair for Locomotive.
  • B25 Freight cars repair exceeding the 85 hours service and/or damage repair.
  • B26 Repairs / modifications by 88 rule of the AAR Manual.
  • B27 Facilities performing M-970 certifications.
  • B28 Multilevel Car repair in designated workshops.

MINOR REPAIRS (Workshops or Mobile)
  • Locomotive repair on the road: simultaneously carry out with the train inspection.
  • Minor repair: The repair is carried out on the track or the workshop; the locomotive is repaired the same day.
  • Minor repair in the facilities: the repair is carried out within the facilities of our customers, with a part stock according to the requirements.
HEAVY REPAIRS (HOME SHOPS AND ACCIDENTAL CARS)

Are made in San Luis Potosi, including the accidental trucks and cars.

Maintenance of Locomotives and electrical systems transportation.
Locomotive Sale and rent (Different types).
Locomotive Paint according to the colors and design that our client need.

INSPECTION SERVICES (TRAIN, JOINT AND ROUGHS)
  • Train/ Locomotive Inspections: carried out in the localities where the customer requires it. Air Tests according to the AAR and the FRA rules.
  • Joint Inspections: testifying equipment conditions in delivery situations.
  • Advices: To assess equipment conditions, like if they are repairable or not and to obtain the characteristics.
  • Cost approximate Inspections: to get the cost repair.
PROGRAMS: (LIFE EXTENSION, SHIPPING IMPROVEMENT, RE-CERTIFICATIONS, CONVERSIONS)

In San Luis Potosi. (With AAR certified), the following programs are also made:

WELDING WORK

As an Important process in our company we have the welding and structures workshop, which is the guideline in the locomotives re-design, modification or transformation and/or for the electric transportation systems. All of them were previously redesigned and modified by our Engineering Department.

All the people in the staff are properly trained and certified to solve the needs and requirements of our clients, which guarantees high quality work.

We design and manufacture Trucks and Bogies for special projects.

We design and manufacture custom made boguies according to the client´s request. They fullfill all the FRA specifications and are built with quality materials and components.

Overhaul or/and maintenance for Locomotives and electric transportation systems.
Locomotive and electric transportation systems design, manufacture or transformation. According to the customer or country technical requirements.

We have the capacity to design and manufacture platform's according to the clients specifications and needs.
